Healthy Homes Action in Annapolis (SEIF Hearing)
Thursday, February 26, 10:30 am–4:00 pm
House Office Building, Room 218, 6 Bladen St, Annapolis, MD
We are calling on the state to commit $133 Million from the Strategic Energy Investment Fund (SEIF) to high-impact, equitable programs that directly support Marylanders' transition to clean electric technologies, including low-income heat pump installation pilot programs, electric school buses, full induction stove ranges, solar energy, and more.
In partnership with the Sierra Club and Interfaith Power & Light, we're showing up in Annapolis to support this budget priority on the day of the hearing in the Senate Budget & Taxation Committee. We're organizing a press conference and speakers at the hearing.
Logistics:
Please wear your Maryland Just Power Alliance t-shirt. We recommend parking at the John Whitmore Garage (37 Clay St, Annapolis). Bring a photo ID of any type so you can get into the building.
