House Hearing for Starter & Silver Homes Act

Come support the Starter & Silver Homes Act (HB239) in the House hearing in the Economic Matters Committee. 

This bill will create smaller, less expensive homeownership opportunities affordable to first-time homebuyers and seniors, by removing zoning barriers at the local level which drive up the cost of building homes.

More Details:

  • Please wear your Maryland Just Power Alliance t-shirt if you have one.

  • We recommend parking at the John Whitmore Garage (37 Clay St, Annapolis).

  • We will be meeting at 12:30 pm outside the hearing room.

  • Bring a photo ID (of any type) so you can get into the building.

  • You will pass through security with a metal detector.
